Older places were built without professional architects / engineers, instead relying on local needs and constraints, using readily available materials. Marble, limestone, bamboo, mudbricks, and reeds. Construction adhered to community standards, rather than academic / regulatory guidelines. It is unique to a particular place and time. This is called Vernacular architecture, and it explains why different places look different.

Located 5 miles from Da Nang, the Hang En Cave is the 3rd largest cave in the world. The only ways to access are by helicopter or a 12km hike through the jungle. You can book a 2-day hiking tour and a stay in a campsite in the cave here.
